Kalo sukmel “Alainchi” is one of the ingredients used to make Nepali Garam Masala spice blends, and is also used in meat curries, Biryani and pickles. The individual pods are hand-picked from the plant, cleaned, and washed. At that point, they are left to dry in the sun. When they are totally dried, they are stored in a sealed container.
